Da ich in Zukunft hier meine Lieblings-Apps vorstellen möchte, habe ich gesucht, wie ich Screenshots auf dem iPad machen kann und war schon kurz davor, eine App dafür zu installieren, es geht aber viel einfacher mit Bordmitteln: man muss lediglich die ”Home-Taste” festhalten und kurz auf die Ein-/Aus Taste drücken, das Bild landet dann als Foto in der Fotosammlung und dann per Fotostream oder per Mail auf dem Rechner.

Publiziert 2. Februar 2012 | Anmerkung: Evtl. war die Vorfreude etwas voreilig: das WPGPlus-Plugin schmeißt Fehlermeldungen beim Veröffentlichen nach Google und es funktioniert erst mal nicht so, wie gewünscht und angekündigt.
Google Plus ist ja ein wenig störrisch, wenn es darum geht sich mit anderen Sozialen Netzwerken zu verbinden. Es ist kein Problem, Google+ Inhalte nach Facebook oder Twitter zu exportieren oder über ein Browser-Plugin alles gleich auf allen drei Netzweken zu veröffentlichen. Die andere Richtung (also in Google+), und dann bitte noch automatisch, ist kompliziert. Im Moment ist die Google+-Api offensichtlich nur für Lese- aber nicht für Schreiboperationen zu brauchen (by design?). Da ich aber keine Lust habe, alles dreimal zu machen, habe ich meine diversen Seiten (die unter Wordpress, bzw. Joomla laufen) so konfiguriert, dass sie neue Artikel auf Twitter ankündigen. Von dort aus geht es dann automatisch nach Facebook (und das hätte ich auch gerne in Richtung Google+.
Ich habe eine Weile nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, Dinge, die ich veröffentliche, quasi automatisch in Google+ einzustellen (analog zu den Twitter Tools für Wordpress) und bin jetzt bei John Eckman fündig geworden. Unter http://www.openparenthesis.org/2012/01/17/introducing-wpgplus-posting-from-wordpress-to-google gibt es das WPGPlus Plugin, so dass es für Wordpress zumindestens schon mal funktioniert. Leider nur, wenn man die Artikel online schreibt und noch nicht (wie z.B. beiden Twitter Tools) so, dass auch mit einem Blogeditor geschriebene Dinge (ich nutze dazu Windows Live Writer), in den Genuss der automatischen Veröffentlichung kommen.
Auf den Joomla-Seiten nutze ich obSocialSubmit von foobla (http://foobla.com/products/featured-joomla-extensions/joomla-social-submit-social-media-marketing.html) für das ein Plugin für Google+ in Aussicht gestellt ist. Ich denke, es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis die Google+ API entsprechende Möglichkeiten vorsieht, aber man ist ja ungeduldig

Towards an R&D Demonstration Programme on Logistic and Supply Chain Security
The objective of the workshop organized by the “Security Research and Development” Unit (H.3) within DG Enterprise & Industry is to discuss the roadmap and priorities that should be taken into consideration for a future FP7 European R&D demonstration programme (large scale research project) on “Logistic and Supply Chain Security”.
This workshop is expected to bring together a wide range of stakeholders in the area of logistic and supply security, including representatives of government, customs and law enforcement institutions, standardization organizations, international shippers,
forwarders, transporters and logistic companies, terminal operators, academia and industry. The workshop will take place on January 31st, 2012 in Brussels in the Centre Albert Borschette (Rue Froissart, 36, B-1040 Brussels).
The agenda will be divided into four sessions:
- panel discussion of related policies at EU and international levels
- a review of on-going EU-funded R&D activities in the area of the supply chain security
- presentation of preparatory work on road maps to define the demonstration programme
- debate and discussion (via three parallel sessions) of what should be tested and validated in this sector
